Our Ordering Policy
In order to ensure optimum freshness of our stock we chose to order from our supplier enough to fill all our customer’s pre-orders and some extra bags to cover new inquiries and orders. If you would like to order from us, make sure to get on our mailing list to be notified of our ordering schedule. We have 2 "guaranteed" standard orders, in the spring and the fall, plus some in between to cover the demand as it arises. If you are a new customer, please be in touch with us to check on availability. If you wish to place an order, please email us to get an order form.
Our Payment Policy
If your order is a special order or is part of our by-annual shipment from our supplier, we request payment for the product in full (a 50% non-refundable deposit applies as we have committed to purchasing stock for your needs) at the time of your pre-order and payment for the shipping prior to shipping. Payment is due prior to pick up or delivery. We accept cash and e-transfer payments. Credit card payments are also available. Please be advised that the credit card fees (3.5%) will be the buyer’s responsibility. On a case by case basis, we may accept cheques, but will only be able to ship your order once the cheque has cleared the bank.
Our Shipping Policy
Please be in touch with us with what you wish to order and your address, and we will provide you with a shipping quote. Shipping quotes are valid for 3 weeks. The full amount of the invoice for the product ordered and shipping is due prior to shipping. You will be provided with a tracking number so you can track your shipment. With the exception of a recall, shipping costs are not refundable.
Our Return and Refund Policy
Due to regulations and contamination potential, we are not able to accept any returns on any of the feed ingredients. In the event of a problem with the content of a bag, we must be notified in writing via email with pictures showing the issue within 7 days of the reception of the product (as shown on the tracking) so we can be in touch with you and come to an agreement if compensation is needed.
If you choose to cancel your pre-order after placement and payment, but prior to shipment, a 30% restocking fee on stock items will apply. We do not offer refunds on special orders.
Our Privacy Policy
For recall purposes and traceability, we are required by the CFIA to collect the following information from all our customers: name, mailing address, phone number and email address. Please note that we are unable to sell if you do not supply us with that information. That information is only accessible by us and the CFIA during audits.
If you subscribed to our emailing list but are not currently a customer, all we store for information is your name and email address as per the contact page on our site. It will never be shared with any third party for any purpose other than where it would be required by law. Our emails have for sole purposes to inform you of our ordering schedule, new products, or website updates, or to answer questions you might have sent us. You are free to unsubscribe from that list at any time by simply sending us an email with “unsubscribe” in the subject line. We will send you a last email to acknowledge the end of your subscription. The only emails you will receive from us after that will only pertain to recalls or your orders, should you have purchased anything from us.
While our website has links to other websites, we are not responsible for the content of the said websites and/or the personal information you might share with them.
