Aragonite is a superior form of calcium that will benefit livestock, poultry and plants. Aragonite is a flour made of shells coming from ancient sea beds. Aragonite, like limestone, is calcium carbonate. However, since it comes from the shells of sea animals, it is predigested, which makes it much more available to animals and plants.

Aragonite promotes strong bones, enhances milk and egg production, with the added benefit of efficient weight gain, feed utilization and muscle tone.

When layer hens are switched from limestone to Aragonite, reduction by 50% in egg cracks has been observed, as well as better bone formation in meat production birds, resulting in less leg problems and less broken bones during processing and handling of the birds.
